One product, lovingly crafted, humbly sold and proudly owned. That’s how things start for most companies. That’s how it started for Mattamy in 1978. Peter Gilgan, founder of Mattamy Homes started a company then, that would become the single largest homebuilder in Ontario today.  Having humbly serviced the needs of over 30,000 customers, Mattamy is still building homes the same way, one at a time, with careful attention to craftsmanship and detail.

The Mattamy Minnesota division embodies the values and philosophies that started back when our founder was getting going. We’ve grown from the day four years ago when Mattamy Homes purchased what was then Homes By Chase, a leading Minnesota builder. Today our communities are numerous, ranging geographically from Woodbury in the east to parts west such as Waconia and Minnetrista and many points in between. While we continue to strive for growth and success, we never lose sight of the fact that it’s our customers that allow us to prosper.

“Home” is a simple word with a thousand complexities. Our job is to learn and master all those complexities. The better we are at it, the more we will succeed. For now, we know one thing for sure. We must treat what we do with great importance because “home” is where everyone longs to be.
